Who we are
This website is operated by Markham Consulting (“Markham”, “we”, “us”). Markham is the data controller for the personal information described in this policy. Questions about this policy or your data can be sent to zaiin.ahmdd@gmail.com, which is the fastest route to the person responsible for it.
What we collect, and why
Consultation requests. When you submit the form, we collect your name, company, email address, optional phone number, selected area and timing, preferred reply method, desired result, and the situation you describe. If you provide files or a supporting link, we keep those with your enquiry. Files are stored privately and are available only through our restricted enquiries area. We use these details to respond, prepare for a conversation and keep a record of our correspondence. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries you initiate.
Correspondence. If you email us, we keep the correspondence for as long as it is relevant to the relationship.
Advertising measurement. We use the Google Ads tag to understand visits to our website and measure the performance of our advertising. The tag can send Google the page URL and title, and Google may use cookies or similar technologies to recognise ad interactions. The site code does not configure this tag to send information entered into our enquiry forms. For more information, see Google’s privacy policy and advertising settings.
What we do not do
We do not sell personal information. We do not share it with third parties for their marketing. We do not enrich, profile or score enquiries with data you did not give us, beyond looking at publicly available information about your company in preparing a response.
Processors we rely on
Your data is handled by service providers that support our website and enquiries: our hosting provider (site delivery), our form notification and email providers (sending enquiry details to us), and our customer-relationship system (storing enquiry records). We also use Google Ads for website and advertising measurement. Those services handle information under their own terms and privacy policies.
Retention
Consultation enquiries that do not lead to an engagement are retained for up to 24 months and then deleted. Records connected to client engagements are retained as required by our contractual and legal obligations.
Your rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct, export or delete personal information we hold about you, and to object to or restrict its processing. Write to zaiin.ahmdd@gmail.com and we will respond within one month. You also have the right to complain to your local data-protection authority.
Changes
We will post any changes to this policy on this page with a revised date. Substantive changes are noted, not silently overwritten.
